The Taylor Teter Partnership is an award-winning architectural and engineering firm with a staff of approximately 60 professionals located in two Central California offices. We have a wide range of work in progress that includes K-12 Education, Higher ED, Commercial, Retirement Facilities, Medical/ Hospital, Student Housing, Industrial and Federal projects (VA, NavFac, Army Corps).

With offices in Fresno and Visalia, TTP is the largest Architectural and Engineering firm within a 150 mile radius. We are especially interested in experienced architects residing in the south Valley. The Central Valley offers affordable housing, easy commutes, and an attractive standard of living. Yosemite National Park is located an hour north of our Fresno office and Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks within 45 minutes of our Visalia location. Many recreation opportunities (lakes, rivers, peaks and ski resorts) are located within 30-90 minutes of each office for outdoor enthusiasts.
TTP is seeking a Project Structural Engineer in its Visalia office who will be responsible for the structural design and preparation of numerical analysis, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 4 years experience and licensed CA Professional Engineer is required. Licensed Structural Engineer preferred. Must have experience in the private/commercial/industrial sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish structural design criteria; Prepare work plan for structural portion of project that integrates with overall work plan; Perform within project timeline and project budget; Select structural system compatible with building type; Prepare structural analysis or coordinate analysis and drawings; Coordination of structural details; QA of calculations/drawings prepared by others; Respond to plan check items; Prepare Addenda, Field or Change Orders.
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, competitive. Health and dental plan take effect the 1st of the month following the date of employment. Retirement plan (401k) eligibility and Engineering Registration Exam fee reimbursement per company policy. Annual bonuses, when conditions allow, are provided based upon performance during the prior year.
